DAVID CANZONERI

David was born in Kentucky and, at age two, moved to Waco, Texas, and at age 7, to south Jackson, Mississippi. He graduated from Wingfield High School there, attended Hinds Jr. College in Raymond, Mississippi and spent two semesters in Waco, Texas at Baylor University. While in Waco, he met and married his wife Carrie. They moved to Tucson, Arizona where he graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in creative writing. He worked several years at Arizona's largest used bookstore. Then he moved to Campbell, Texas in 1985 to continue his association with books as he managed the Cornerstone Bookstore which became the official book provider for Bill Martin Jr's conferences.  It was that association with Bill that gave David the impetus to take his lifelong love of writing and books and develop "Brush Your Little Pearly Whites", “So Did I” and many other titles to come in the future.  A kindergarten teacher for 13 years, a parent of four kids, and a granddaddy to 8 grand kids, David has a real love for children and a deep concern for them to develop their language skills, as well as a desire for them to have clean teeth! He loves to play his guitar and sing songs to kids, share his books with them, and then entertain them with a few magic tricks.
